A-Best: Look, this is a way for the super rich of all socities... Mexican, Canadian, American, British, Chinese, ect. are going to make a lot of money. If you look at the trend of all of this, the end goal is to truly globalize the planet. In essence it is a win/ win for the most talented on the planet, and the super weathly. The talent can go to the greatest need and get the best salary possible. The wealthy can exploit this talent and make more wealth. The other 95% of us, well, it is the high to medium performers who have to deal with the reprocussions. and it comes down to a win/lose. Its not that people do not care, it is people have tried to take stands begin to realise you can win a battle, but easily lose the war. I think it comes down to, if the general populace becomes educated enough to understand what is going on, and has the motivation to act, then true change can happen, but until that you are going to happen you have a puppet for President on the right, and a puppet to the left, at least on a state level, in Europe the people have a bit more smarts, but still have trouble with the political machine. Also one of the main causes of habitat loss is human freeway systems. It cuts up a species habit and the abilities to find food, mates, and migrate.
