When I *69 the hangup calls, I get a recording that says....?
My house constantly gets hangup calls from a number that says 'no caller ID' on the caller id screen. When I try to *69 the call to see who is harassing me, I get a recording that says, "Your custom calling feature is working, however this feature cannot be used on the number you are trying to reach." How can this be done and what other recourse do I have towards someone who is harassing me with hangup calls?

A-Best: that means the blocked there number. co you cant trace it with caller ID or *69. as soon as they call and hang up call your phone company right away and tell them to document that call and as it happenes keep callin the phone company then once you have enought contact police the phone company will give the number to the police bada boom they trace the call find the address then the colprits are hit with a nasty abuse fine good luck!  

A: You can get a block for unidentified callers. You can where I live. That way if thier numbers blocked or private they have to say thier name or unblock thier number to ring through. I suppose *69 doesn't work on private numbers. You could also take notes of when this is happening and report it to your telephone company. Good luck!
